- Pacific Asia Resource Center (PARC)
Pacific Asia Resource Center is a non-profit organization committed in international social and
economic justice. Since 1973, PARC has been working with a variety of people's movements in Japan
to facilitate development of solidarity links with people in struggle in countries mainly in Asian
Pacific region. PARC has diverse activities such as advocacy, publishing monthly magazine and booklets,
producing educational videos, research, documentation, organizing international conferences and symposiums,
and an educational institution.

- Mecenat Kyogikai
(Association for Corporate Support of the Arts)
Mecenat Kyogikai is Japan's first non-profit association devoted to promoting corporate
support of the arts. The Association conducts research, surveys and
seminars to promote partnerships between businesses and arts, as well as
providing information and statistical data relating to corporate support
of the arts.

- Keizai Koho Center
The Keizai Koho Center (KKC) is an independent, nonprofit organization supported by industrial organizations
and individual Japanese- and foreign- affiliated firms. It was established in 1978 with the aim to build
bridges of communication in order to facilitate the free flow of information. KKC programs bring foreign
scholars, businesspeople, educators, and journalists to Japan to help them learn more about the nation and
its economy. KKC also promotes dialogue by sending their Japanese counterparts abroad to observe global conditions
firsthand.

Kiko Network is a non-governmental organization supported by individuals, organizations and regional networks

- Tokyo Voluntary Action Center
Tokyo Voluntary Action Center (TVAC) was founded in 1981 to promote voluntarism in the Tokyo Metropolitan area.
Since then this non-profit organization has encouraged people to actively engage in voluntary activities as well
as supported volunteers and NPOs. In cooperation with local volunteer centers and other organizations for NPOs,
TVAC establishes volunteer programs in schools, companies, and various communities. It also provides volunteers and
NPOs with ongoing support and networking. In addition, TVAC has been researching various issues, which affect
voluntarism as well as advocating new ideas to the public.

- National Information Center for Educational Resource (NICER)
NICER plays a major role on a national level in the networking of information related to education and learning in
Japan. The primary objective of NICER is to support the promotion of digitized education in schools, higher education,
and lifelong learning. NICER aims to develop a system that can provide educational and learning resources to
preschoolers, students of lower and upper secondary schools, college students, working adults, lifelong learners,
teachers, and educational personnel. The system under development enables both students and teachers to choose and
display exactly what they are looking for.

- Japan Philanthropic Association
The Japan Philanthropic Association aims to foster acceptance of volunteer activities in people's minds and nurture
a culture of donation. With donations as the financial source, the association will conduct a broad range of
activities to organize an infrastructure amenable to the creation of a philanthropic society - a true democratic
society based on the philanthropic activities of individuals and corporations-by growing and supporting new nonprofit
organizations (NPOs) in cooperation with corporations and other groups.

The Japan Institute for Labor Policy and Training strives to contribute to the planning of labor policies

- National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan (NCAC)
The mission of the NCAC is to improve and stabilize people's lives. Since its founding in 1970, NCAC has answered
consumer inquiries; published a wide variety of information, including the results of product testing; and has come
to play an important role in aiding consumer choice. NCAC works to gather and provide information on a wide range of
issues to respond to economic and social changes as they arise and to establish consumer networks.

- Japan Offspring Fund (JOF)
Japan Offspring Fund (JOF) is a consumer group and environmental NGO established in 1984. JOF has researched
issues involving the safety of daily life, including chemical residues, endocrine disruptors, and genetically
engineered food. JOF publishes monthly newsletter, Safety of Our Food and Life in both Japanese and English and
has approximately 4,300 members.
