Welcome to our website!
We are pleased to announce the renewal of Japan NPO Center’s (JNPOC) English website. This website provides information about what we do at JNPOC, as well as various aspects of Japanese nonprofits and Japan’s civic Sectors. In addition, our new English website features information on Tohoku, which was heavily damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami on March 11, 2011. It aims to shed light on the current situation in Tohoku as the region strives to rebuild and reinvent itself. We will cover the challenges faced by the reconstruction effort and the response of nonprofits. It is our strong belief that these issues are relevant not only to Japanese society, but to other parts of world as well, so we hope that the information provided will resonate with your thoughts.
