The Japan NPO Center (JNPOC) and ORIX Life Insurance Corporation have partnered to launch the “Turning Wishes into Reality Project” (Omoi wo Katachi ni Project). This grant program is designed to support unique and memorable experiences for children with disabilities or serious illnesses and their families.

This initiative aligns ORIX Life Insurance’s corporate belief—contributing to a future where everyone can live positively—with JNPOC’s established expertise in NPO support.

This grant program is founded on empathy for the heartfelt wishes of these children and their families—desires such as doing something they’ve always wanted to do or visiting a special place. We aim to help transform these everyday aspirations into tangible “realities.”

The grant targets organizations that support children with disabilities or serious illnesses and their families (including parents and siblings). Eligible activities broadly include initiatives that bring these wishes to life, such as exciting play programs, trips to create lasting memories with family and friends, or dedicated time for refreshment for parents and siblings who provide daily care. The Grant Amount for this program ranges from JPY 500,000 to JPY 2,000,000 per project.

By allowing children and their families to accumulate these memorable experiences, the project seeks to foster a society that deeply values the “enrichment of being together” within communities. We sincerely hope this program provides all participants with an invaluable period of safety and being cherished.
