As the research partner for Japan, Japan NPO Center (JNPOC) cooperated with the action-oriented research and advisory organization, Centre for Asian Philanthropy and Society’s (CAPS) Doing Good Index (DGI2022), a new social impact study that shows how to maximize philanthropic and policy responses to cope with these post-Covid challenges.

The DGI2022 surveyed 2,239 SDOs and interviewed 126 experts across 17 Asian economies: Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. It examines regulatory regimes, tax incentives, procurement procedures and socio-cultural conditions
